Contributor recognition

Recognition of participation and contribution is not only important to individual researchers: biobanks and research subjects as well as researchers all need to be identified unambiguously for their involvement in biobank research, website content, databases, and data elements within databases. The establishment of globally unique digital ID systems is one method to achieve this goal.

Through its development of two key tools, BioSHaRE has contributed to the global movement for contributor recognition of researchers and bioresources.
